There's this corner in our kitchen area that's been basically unused space until now. This weekend we went out and bought a little kiddie table, two chairs and a couple of other things, which now occupy that corner of our kitchen. Owen LOVES his table and chairs! He broke it in by doing a little table dancing on it which resulted in a fall and a quick thinking catch by Mommy!! Fortunately I didn't have the camera in hand then, but the table dancing was funny.
We will be going back to Ikea in the near future to buy two storage/seating benches that fit under this table. I hope to put Owen's coloring books, paper, crayons, markers and various craft items in there as we are short on storage space in our home.
We're also shopping around for Owen's future sleeping arrangements and considering moving him into the 2nd largest of the three bedrooms we have in our home. While at Ikea we found this really cute twin sized comforter cover with colorful animals on it, a matching pillow cover and pillow. I can't wait for Owen to use them! We love Ikea. As far as home furnishings go, especially if you have kids, Ikea is really quite affordable and you can't really beat that.
