On Thursday we had a fun family day at the Fair at the PNE. It was Owen's first time on amusement park rides and he LOVED it!! It was expensive but it was worth it just to see and hear Owen smile and laugh and say things like "Oh my Gosh," "Awesome," "I'm so happy," "This is high," "WOW," and things like that. We took turns with Owen and went down a giant slide. Owen went on the Merry-Go-Round, a car ride, a Dumbo ride and also the Ferris Wheel with Dad. We were lucky that Owen just barely made the height requirements for some of the rides! Dad played a balloon dart game and won a stuffed turtle toy for Owen and a little birdie for Ana. There was also an assortment of farm/barnyard animals and a petting area where Owen got to pet, but mostly talk, to the animals. Owen had a blast and we got pictures to prove it. Ana on the other hand, slept for most of our stay at the fair, so in all, both kids were on their best behavior. Now that we've seen how much Owen enjoyed himself, we have something to look forward to next year!
