And She's Off!

On the evening of 7/29/08 while we were chatting with Grandmama Q on the webcam, Ana took her first tentative steps on her own. Just two to three steps at a time before falling. She was getting up on her own and I thought, "It's gonna happen tonight!" And, it did. Sort of. Chris was in LA for work at that time. So I called him right up and told him the good news.

Then... after a few days of only taking 2 to 3 steps, she finally has the confidence in herself to walk halfway across our living room! It wasn't like Owen, where one day it just clicked and he could walk and from then on, he walked all the time. Ana's more careful. She stands up, tries to walk and then decides she'd rather crawl. But, she's doing it!! She's walking!!
