We celebrated Ana's first Christmas in Vermont. We had a wonderful time! Our kids were spoiled of course but to make it even more memorable, Owen & Ana's Aunt Sara got engaged to a wonderful man, John. Congratulations to them and welcome to the family John! We are so happy to have met you.
Not only did we meet John, but family and friends came to see us and that was an enjoyable. Owen enjoyed his time in the snow with Grandpa and Aunt Liza. They made a snowman. Actually, Grandpa did all the work and Owen just picked apart the snowman's face. He spent some quality time with Great Grandpa and was Uncle John's biggest fan.
After two weeks of me trying to get Ana to take breastmilk and/or formula in a bottle, and failing, Grandpa Q was finally able to get Ana to do it! Since then I've been able to take one or two breaks a day from breastfeeding. Thanks Grandpa Q!!! Another thing... Ana got her first little tooth on Christmas day! Her second tooth started to come out a few days later.
On Christmas Eve, we went to Children's Mass where Owen participated alongside other children at the altar. The priest asked Christmas themed questions as well as ones about Baby Jesus and the Three Wise Men. Owen cheered on the other kids when they got a question right and even told the priest he was doing a good job. I love my son. He makes me laugh. While at Church, Owen, Ana and I got to meet some of Grandmama Q's friends and students.
We did a lot of shopping but we also spent a lot of quality family time together which was so nice! As with all visits and vacations, it went by too fast! We had a wonderful time and many thanks to our friends & family in Vermont for everything!

Oh my, I love these pictures of you....enjoying the good times in Vermont. Elsie has not stopped talking about how special your visit was. She has so many beautiful things to say about Owen and Ana. She loves you all soooo much. Chris & Marisa, just so you know Elsie thinks that you are wonderful parents!
i love the picutes! what a glorious christmas it was with all of our children, grandchildren, great-grandparents and our future son-in-law to share in the true meaning of christmas.
my only wish - if we could do all over again. it was the best of times for sure. our house is far too quite, but thank goodness for webcams. i do enjoy our "visits"
