On Sunday, Owen, Ana and I went to Metrotown Mall in Burnaby to see the Dinosaurs. We had a great time. Up until then, Owen never grasped just how large some of these creatures were until he actually saw them on display. He was awed. They had bones and fossils on display as well as two life-sized animatronic T-Rexes. The largest of the two had timed movement and roared! This one was Ana's favorite as she squealed with delight every time it made noise. The smaller one was hands-on. There were buttons you could push to make it move, roar, etc. and of course, Owen preferred this one. There was also a "dig site" set up where you could brush sand to look for dinosaur footprints. The dinosaurs will be staying until September so hopefully we'll have a chance to visit them again before they migrate!

i continue to admire all the activities you expose owen and ana to.
looking at all of these photos makes it hard to live so far away...however that being said...i take great comfort viewing and reading your blog....plus thank the good lord for web-cams!!!

They had the exhibit in the mall? Wow! T. loves going to the Dinosaur museum when ever we get the chance. Go back as often as you can!
